St Paul's C of E Nursery & Primary School

Ethos & Aims

 You made my whole being.

You formed me in my mother's body.

I praise you because you made me in an amazing and wonderful way.

What you have done is wonderful.

I know this very well.

You saw my bones being formed

as I took shape in my mother's body.

When I was put together there,

you saw my body as it was formed.

All the days planned for me

were written in your book

before I was one day old.

Rooted in Psalm 139 (v12-16)

Our School is a place where pupils of all faiths, backgrounds and abilities can enjoy a safe and happy education.  Individuals are valued, respected and encouraged to reach their full potential.

At St Paul’s, we believe that strong partnerships between parents, children, staff, and the extended community are the most effective way of achieving the best learning outcomes and well-being for  all of our children.

  St Paul's Ethos

The school aims to serve its community by encouraging respect for all faiths and providing an education of the highest quality within the context of Christian belief and practice. It encourages an understanding of the meaning and significance of faith, and promotes Christian values through the experience it offers to all its pupils. We desire all our children to be the best they can be, knowing they are loved and accepted for who they are "wonderfully made," (Psalm 139, v14)
